"On wide shots, I looked very funny, like Wonder Woman pregnant with Kermit the Frog," because the costume department covered her bump with a bright green fabric that could be digitally altered in post-production.

Its opening weekend set a new box office record for a female-directed film, earning more than $100 million in the U.S. and $122 million internationally. On Thursday, Twitter announced that Wonder Woman is the most-tweeted-about movie of 2017, beating out La La Land and Beauty and the Beast. The film has also been "certified fresh" by Rotten Tomatoes, with a 92 percent positive rating from critics and moviegoers alike. Wonder-ous, indeed.
